Dr Zong-Yuan Zhao is an independent visiting Doctor at both Coffs Medical Centre & Moonee Medical Centre . He is fully fluent in English and Chinese Mandarin.
He was born in Beijing and immigrated to Coffs Harbour at the age of 7, attending Tyalla Primary School and then John Paul College. He has studied and practiced as a pharmacist in Sydney before completing post graduate medical studies at University of Sydney in 2015. He has previously worked at Blacktown/Mt Druitt and Bathurst Base Hospital before returning to his beloved hometown of Coffs Harbour in 2018 to commence GP training。
He has completed his FRACGP at the end of 2021. He enjoys all aspects of general practice and has a particular interest in paediatrics, general medicine and geriatrics problems. In his spare time, he enjoys watching cartoon (Finding Nemo/Ice age and Kungfu Panda to name a few), Marvel movies and has a keen interest for local badminton and table tennis activities in Coffs Harbour. He also happens to be the 3rd Australian chess grandmaster as well and still regularly represents Australia at international chess events as well as a recognised national chess coach.

他出生于北京，7岁时跟随父母移民到Coffs Harbour并在当地 Tyalla Primary和 John Paul College 读毕小学和高中。他原本是一名澳洲药剂师并且之后在悉尼大学完成本科医学课程后，随即在 Blacktown/Mt Druitt/Bathurst 当过多年的住院医师。 他于2018随家人又回到了自己的家乡Coffs Harbour 开始了 FRACGP。
他在2021年底成功通过了 FRACGP考核，正式成为一名澳洲家庭医生。赵医生对常见内科病都有临床经验，特别对儿科，综合杂症和老人病感兴趣。他喜爱看卡通片（包括海底总动员/冰川世纪/功夫熊猫），漫威系列电影。他热衷参与当地 Coffs Harbour 羽毛和乒乓球俱乐部的活动。另外他是澳洲历史第三名国际象棋特级大师，于2022年还经常代表澳洲参加国际象棋国际赛事并且是一名国家级教练。
